Joe has more than 25 years of global experience providing Private Equity, Venture Capital and corporate advisory services to companies in Australia/New Zealand, SE Asia, UK/Europe and the USA.

Joe has extensive experience in opportunity identification, investment due diligence and increasing shareholder value.

Joe is passionate about helping Founders grow outstanding teams, nurture a special culture, that can then deliver an outstanding service, with loyal customers, and assist in raising capital to sustain this growth.

Joe’s career experience includes corporate advisory, financial structuring, project finance, debt structuring, equity raising and public listings. His expertise covers the origination, execution and active management of investments across many industries and sectors.

Joe is the founding Principal of Lennoxgrove Capital and was previously Head of Co-Investments at Macquarie Bank for 6 years.

Ochine Chater
Principal

Ochine has over 25 years of international experience working across technology, manufacturing & delivery, complex long-term projects, infrastructure projects, M&A, company disposals, treasury, business developments and the negotiation of large strategic projects.

Ochine has previously been involved with screening emerging companies investment opportunities for the INSEAD Programme and mentoring/coaching their Founders.

Ochine has experienced various different entrepreneurial and corporate situations, including risk management, crisis management and environments requiring continuous improvements and “out of the box” thinking, to deliver both short term results and long term strategy.

Prior to working at Lennoxgrove Capital, Ochine worked for large listed and medium size multinationals (Alstom, Gibela, GEC and Alcatel) in various CFO/COO roles.

Nick Basile 
Investment Advisory Board Member

Nick has over 30 years of financial services experience primarily in investment management covering a broad spectrum of asset classes.  

Nick has previously held various senior executive positions including Chief Investment Officer roles at several top 20 Australian companies and most recently was the Chief Investment Officer of the Suncorp Group (circa $20 billion in Funds under Management). Before joining Suncorp in 2013, Nick spent four years as Investment Director at nabInvest (part of National Australia Bank). He was responsible for driving nabInvest's investment strategy and acting as the lead senior executive across nabInvest's sector specialist teams, in Private Equity (includes MLC Private Equity with circa $5 billion in Funds under Management), Boutiques/JVs, Property, Infrastructure, Fixed Income and Equities.

Nick was also a Director on the Gardior board for over 4 years. Gardior is the trustee of the $2.5 billion Australian investment vehicle The Infrastructure Fund (TIF), a consistently high performing infrastructure fund. Gardior is a leading infrastructure investment firm providing investors with access to unlisted infrastructure investment opportunities in Australia and overseas.

Nick has a strong focus on governance and risk management.
